Lighting / Director of Photography Workshop 
 
In this three hour workshop, you will learn hands-on about the what, how, 
when and where to light a scene for your film and green screen shoots with 
award-winning cinematographer Bill Johns. Learn the basics of lighting based

on mood and visual needs, what it really means to be a director of 
photography and how to make your project the best it can be. 
 
This workshop will be held at North Coast Casting, 5009 Storer Ave., 
Cleveland OH, on Sunday, December 11th from 1 to 4pm. 
 
About Bill Johns: 
 
Bill is a three time silver Telly award winner who has won national festival

awards for his short films. He's been director of photography on six feature

films and wrote, produced and directed his own feature film, entitled 
Madness. His latest short film, "Somewhere in France", has won awards at 
various festivals and earned him the Best Director award at The Indie 
Gathering International Film Festival.
