SPOTLIGHTS PRESENT “MANAGING!” – A ONE-MAN SHOW

The Broadview Heights Spotlights Community Theater would like to announce the
premiere of a new one-man comedy, Matty Sayre’s Managing! A Theatre
Professional’s Journey in (Un)Employment. The play will be performed by
Christopher Bizub as part of the Spotlights’ cabaret series on Friday, December
9, and Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 7:00 PM. Shows will be at the Cultural
Arts Building, 9543 Broadview Road, behind the Police Building.  Tickets are $5
per person and benefit the Spotlights’ Education Fund.

Managing! tells the story of his hopeful and comedic journey from his career as
an operatic stage manager to that of being a warm body in a cold office. You'll
enjoy hearing about the attempts to leave "show biz" for the security of a "real
job." Imagine trying to convince the interviewer that your University education
is, indeed, valuable. And, once hired, what can you do to keep the job that you
know nothing about? Or the follies of being hired by an employer who doesn't
even want to succeed! Managing! is a story demonstrating the ridiculousness of
reality and how it can make for great entertainment. Forget your (un)employment
stresses for one night and laugh at someone else's!
