I will be directing HELLCAB in May at the Ghost Light Theatre - Cleveland's newest and coolest venue - and will be looking for 6 diverse and creative performers. See info below:

HELLCAB opens May 4 – May 20 - Thursdays-Sundays
Rehearsals will begin around the second week of April 2012.
 
Set in Chicago at Christmastime, the entire set is one quarter of the hood of a yellow cab with its front and back seats and steering wheel. Placed appropriately on the windowless windshield is an orange parking ticket. Hellcab is a series of vignettes based on real life events. The play is a study about modern city life and the people we meet for a brief moment but who touch us long afterwards. Seven actors play approximately 25 roles, while the seventh actor, the cabbie, is the guiding character for the audience. Each vignette is brief, lasting as long as some real life cab rides. 
 
This play is a great showcase for 7 diverse actors with an opportunity to play multiple characters!
 
CHARACTERS: (as described in script) All ages are flexible
 
WHITE MAN –Cab Driver (Cast)
OLDER WHITE MAN – 20’s - 40’s
OLDER WHITE WOMAN – 30’s – 50’s
YOUNG WHITE WOMAN – 20’s-40-s
BLACK MAN – 20’-30’s
BLACK WOMAN – 30’s -50’s
