Learn How it All Came About in "The Making of ... Carousel" at LCCC's
Stocker Arts Center

You may remember how the 1945 musical "Carousel" ends - with the famous
lines "Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart and you're never walk
alone" - but do you know how the famous musical began?

Discover the story behind the Broadway sensation when the Musical
Theater Project presents "The Making of ... Carousel" at 3 p.m., Sunday,
January 15 at Lorain County Community College's Stocker Arts Center. The
show is part of the Random Acts Series.

Tickets are $15 for adults; $10 for students with a valid ID; and $10
for children 12 and under. Tickets can be ordered online at
www.lorainccc.edu/stocker <http://www.lorainccc.edu/stocker> , or by
calling the Stocker Arts Center box office at (440) 366-4040 from 12-6
p.m., Monday through Friday. Tickets are also available at the box
office, located in the lobby of the Stocker Arts Center. Take-a-Chance
tickets are available at the box office beginning at 1:30 p.m. the day
of the show as long as tickets remain. Take-a-Chance tickets are
half-off the top ticket price and are available until curtain time.

Radio personality Bill Rudman and pianist Nancy Maier will co-host the
show, which will include every piece from the "Carousel" score,
including "If I Loved You," "Mr. Snow," "June is Bustin' Out All Over"
and "Carousel Waltz."

Jared Leal, who toured nationally as Billy Bigelow, will be a feature
singer along with Jessica Cope as Julie Jordan. They will be joined by
vocalists Ursula Cataan, James Dickason, Cynthia O'Connell and Fabio
Polanco. The talented Elyria High School Madrigal Singers will add their
beautiful sound to the show. The 24-voice singers are skilled in musical
theater, as well as vocal jazz, pop and madrigal literature.
