[NEohioPAL] BARDSTOCK 2012: Great Lakes Theater Invites Students to Submit Original Music

Are you a solo artist or in a band? Do you write/perform original songs?
We want to hear.

Great Lakes Theater is producing Romeo and Juliet this April. We are looking for original, new songs inspired by Shakespeare's most famous love story, composed by Ohio students. Songs can be in any style.

Four grand prize winners will receive:

  *   -$250 cash prize
  *   -Professionally engineered studio recording, and CDs
  *   -Song broadcast on Dee Perry's Around Noon program, WCPN 90.3 FM on April 23, 2012

No entry fees. Middle and high school students residing in Ohio may submit one song. Get full contest details and sign up by emailing Daniel Hahn (dhahn at greatlakestheater.org) or calling (216) 241-5490 x307.

Sign up for the contest by February 15.
Submit your original, Romeo and Juliet inspired song by March 16.
