*Cast & Creative Team*



Actors’ Summit, Akron’s Equity professional theater, has announced the
creative team for *BULLY, An Adventure with Teddy Roosevelt* by Jerome
Alden.  The play will have a three week run at Greystone Hall in downtown
Akron from January 19 through February 5.



*The Director*

* *

*Peter Voinovich*, a long time member of the company will be directing his
first full length play for Actors’ Summit.  Peter was a member of the
directing team responsible for last year’s comic success, *Romantic
Fools*. Previous
acting roles at Actors' Summit include:  *A Midsummer Night's Dream*, *Who's
Afraid of Virginia Woolf*, *Glass Menagerie*, *She Stoops to Conquer,
*and*Tuesdays with Morrie
*. Peter graduated from Ohio University with a B.F.A.  He has also
performed at Ensemble Theatre in Cleveland and the Strawdog Theatre Company
in Chicago.



*The Design Team*

*Scene Design*

*Rory Wohl *joins the creative team at Actors’ Summit for the first time.*
*Rory attended Ohio University with Peter Voinovich and has worked
professionally as both a theater technician and scenic designer.

* *

*Costume & Prop Design***

*MaryJo Alexander* has designed costumes for all 105 productions at Actors’
Summit.  In addition to her work at Actors’ Summit where she is the
Co-artistic Director, she has designed for Ensemble Theater, Dobama
Theater, Stan Hywet, and Weathervane.



*Lighting Design *

*Kevin Rutan *is a member of IATSE Local 48.  Kevin has worked at a number
of area theaters including TRI-C, Beck Center and here at Actors’ Summit
where he has created lighting designs for *Romantic Fools*, *A Grand Night
for Singing*, *Five Course Love,* and *Woody Guthrie’s American Song*.



*Sound Design*

*Daniel Taylor* recently completed his degree in technical theater at Kent
State University.  Daniel has worked as a member of the Actors’ Summit
company in a number of capacities including as an actor, set technician,
sound designer, and lighting designer.  In addition to his theater
activities, Daniel is a sound engineer with Woodsy’s Music.



*The Actor*

Creating Teddy Roosevelt will be the founder and artistic co-director of
Actors’ Summit, Neil Thackaberry.  This will be the fourth one man show
that Thackaberry has performed.  His previous solo performances have
included the comedy *Fully Committed*, and three plays based on the lives
of John Brown, Richard Feynman, and Clarence Darrow.



In addition to his work at Actors’ Summit, Neil has performed at the
Cleveland Play House, Great Lakes Theater Festival, Oberlin Summer Theater
Festival, and Ensemble Theatre.  He is a member of Actors’ Equity.

*Ticket Prices*



Individual ticket prices range from $19 at preview performances and the
Saturday matinee on Saturday, January 28th to $30 for Friday and Saturday
evenings.  All full time students with ID can attend any performance for
$9.



Remainder of the Season subscriptions starting at $70 for five shows are
still available.
