The Vagina Monologues are coming to B-W, Produced by TAP in conjunction with V-Day, a global activist movement to end violence against women and girls. The award-winning play is based on V-Day Founder/playwright Eve Ensler's interviews with more than 200 women. With humor and grace the piece celebrates women's sexuality and strength. V-Day generates broader attention for the fight to stop violence against women and girls, including rape, battery, incest, female genital mutilation, and sex slavery. Through this play and the liberation of this one word, countless women throughout the world have taken control of their bodies and their lives.

Laura's Home serves women and children who are in-crisis, sometimes they are referred to as “homeless” but their situation is always more complex than simply not having a place to sleep indoors. Laura’s Home serves as a bridge to the local church and community by providing safety, security and stability to some of the most vulnerable in our society, and provides hope that their future does not have to be the same as their past. Last year, Laura’s Home provided 46,646 meals and 35,944 nights of shelter to 689 women and 435 children in crisis.
