This weekend experience music from the landmark Broadway musical *The Lion
King. *TrueNorth Cultural Arts presents a limited engagement concert event
featuring the most loved songs from Disney's smash hit musical. Under the
direction of award-winning director/choreographer* Martín* *Céspedes* and
musical director Rick Fortney, the Nature and Arts Center at French Creek
is transformed into a magical afternoon of pulse-pounding rhythms and
hypnotic story-telling under the African night sky. Northeastern
Ohio's *Reginald
K. Scott* (who thrilled audiences with his portrayal of the legendary Nat
King Cole in *Unforgettable*), leads a journey of powerful poetry,
infectious movement and uplifting music.****

Following the 1:30 performance and before the 4:30  performance, there will
be an African Drumming Workshop, free and open to all, 2:45 – 4:15 p.m.****
