Subject: Spring Workshop: Playwriting Boot Camp!

PLAYWRITING BOOT CAMP is back!
Taught by award-winning local playwright Sarah Morton

Do any of these sound familiar?

-You have a great idea for a play. You've talked about it to everyone you know. But when it's time to
sit down and actually write the play, you freeze.

- You wrote two brilliant scenes for a new play. You got stuck on Scene 3, wrote half of Scene 4, decided the play was
stupid, and stuck it in a drawer.

- You wrote a draft of a one-act play. Then you showed it to your best friend, who said she didn't get it. You tried to write
a second draft, but now you're blocked.

- You made a New Year's Resolution-- in 2010-- to take your writing seriously. Two years later, you still can't find
the time or energy to write.

Playwriting Boot Camp is a workshop designed to help you beat the Block, outwit the Inner Critic, and defeat the myth of Not Enough Time.
Using two simple practices-- daily discipline and radical acceptance-- participants will write a one-act play in 6 weeks. We will share scenes
from your works- in- progress each week, in a supportive setting that focuses on creative possibilities rather than 'critique.' We will also
set weekly goals and intentions to meet your personal needs and help you stay on track. By the end of the workshop, you will have a finished
draft of a one-act play.

You want to write. So what's stopping you??

Workshop meets on *6 consecutive Tuesday evenings: March 6, March 13, March 20th, March 27th, April 3rd, and April 10th.
from 6:30 - 9:30 pm in Cleveland Heights.

*PLEASE NOTE: Students must be able to attend all 6 sessions and commit to a regular writing
schedule during the workshop.

Investment: $160 if registered by February 21st.
                  $175 after February 21st.

Class size is limited to 6 students. If interested, please register or inquire early.

To begin registration, please send your name and contact info ( phone/email) to smorton8 at aol.com
or call (216) 534-7543.
