NEXT MONDAY AT 7:30, FIRST MONDAYS RETURNS TO JUDSON MANOR WITH A READING OF
ONE-ON-ONE

Two prize-winning playwrights go “one-on-one” to bring you this story of a
high-stakes friendship that beats all the odds. Both authors in their own
right, Bob Noll and Ed Walsh have been writing plays together since the
early 80s and their collaborations have been seen locally, in Kansas City,
at the Barter Theatre in Virginia and in many off-off Broadway houses in New
York. ONE-ON-ONE was a semi-finalist for the National Playwrights
Conference (The O’Neill) in 2011.

Baldwin-Wallace graduate Rod Lawrence returns from New York to Cleveland to
play “Sunny,” the black kid who has the guts to cross 1-2-5 and challenge
two JV stars, played by Bryan Heard and William Goff. Skip Corris, Joe
Verciglio and George Clements round out the cast in this story of racial
tension on a basketball court in the “Old Neighborhood.”

Please note our new location and time change. FIRST MONDAYS is now
performing at Judson Manor and the reading begins at 7:30 p.m. Judson is
located at 1890 East 107th Street just across the street from the “Church of
the Holy Oil Can” (University Circle United Methodist Church at the corner
of Euclid and MLK).

If you’re new to University Circle, note that there are two Judson
residences. You’re heading for the one just off 107th and Chester – JUDSON
MANOR. Admission is $5 at the door. Park free in a gated lot that is just
steps away from the Judson Manor lobby.
