"Rumors" Opens at the Ashtabula Arts Center on Friday, February 10th!
 
Imagine what would happen if the deputy mayor of New York City invited some influential friends for an anniversary party and they arrived to find him delirious from a gunshot wound and his wife nowhere in sight. Let the story spinning begin!  In G.B. Community Theatre's production of "Rumors," award-winning comedy playwright Neil Simon has spun up some doozies that audiences are sure to love!  This stage favorite will chase away all your winter doldrums on February 10 - 12, 17 - 19, 24 & 25, 2012.  Friday and Saturday performances begin at 8 p.m.  Sunday matinees begin at 2 p.m.  G.B. Community Theatre is located at the Ashtabula Arts Center, 2928 W. 13th Street in Ashtabula.

 

Directed by Stephen Rhodes of Conneaut the cast includes David Bucci, Stephanie Bucci, Dennis Dixon, Aaron Drews, Diane Jarold, Babs LeGeza, Chris Nappi, Clay Nielsen, Sydne Nielsen, and Tracy Smallwood.

 

This production is not recommended for children and contains material that may offend some people.

 

Tickets are $14 Patron seating, $12 General Admission Adults, $11 Seniors and Students.  Or save $2 per ticket when you purchase tickets in advance.  Advance sale tickets must be purchased prior to 4 p.m. on the day of the show or by Saturday for Sunday performances.  Tickets can be purchased by visiting the Ashtabula Arts Center box office or by phone at (440) 964-3396.

 

G.B. Community Theatre will also offer the popular "Dinner Before The Show" prior to the performance on Saturday, February 18th. Reservations and prepayment for the set menu meal are required no later than noon on Wednesday, February 15.  However, dinner seats often sell out well before the deadline and tickets should be purchased as early as possible.  Prepared by Angie Gasch of Conneaut, the "Rumors" menu will include Wonton Soup, Asian Salad, Shrimp Chips, Honey Glazed Chicken, Fried Rice, Stir-fried Vegetables, Cookies & Ice Cream and Assorted Beverages. Cost of the dinner is $16 plus the price of your theater ticket.
