33rd Annual Masterworks Concert Presents 'Psalms through the Ages' at
LCCC 

Lorain County Community College's Civic Chorale, Collegiate Chorale, and
Civic Orchestra will present the 33rd Annual Masterworks Concert,
"Psalms through the Ages," at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 3 in the
Stocker Arts Center under the direction of Nancy Davis, director of
choral music performance. 

The program will feature musical psalm settings composed by Pote,
Aguiar, Rutter, and will culminate with the powerful and compelling
masterwork, "Symphony of Psalms" by Igor Stravinsky. Composed in 1930,
Stravinsky wrote, "This symphony is composed to the glory of God and is
dedicated to the Boston Symphony Orchestra on the occasion of its 50th
anniversary." 

General admission tickets are $7 and may be purchased by calling the
