Karamu House Seeking Program Director of Cultural Arts Education 
and Outreach.


The historic Karamu House, Inc. aregional theatre and community center  
in Cleveland, Ohio with a $2million annual operating budget, is seeking an
individual to fill the positionof Program Director of Cultural ArtsEducation
andOutreach.
 
This position will be part ofKaramu House senior leadership team, reporting
to the Executive Director withoperational responsibility for cultural arts 
education programs; for youth andadults; outreach programs and workshops
and in-house specialprograms.  Key job skills requiredinclude administrative
management; program development;community relations and marketing.
 
Qualifications:
·        Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, business,education or a related field
·        Three to five years experience in artseducation programs, or arts 
management
·        Experience supervising staff, budgetpreparation and control and program 
outcomes measurements
·        Appreciation of the arts as a vital partof our education system and 
society in general
·        Ability to supervise, motivate,establish and maintain standards
·        Ability to plan and implement activities
·        Flexible in meeting the demands of theprogram
·        Good oral and written communicationskills
 
            Compensation range $40,000 - $50,000annually, commensurate with experience
