*Eric Coble’s*

*A GIRL’S GUIDE TO COFFEE*

*Opens at Actors’ Summit** *

* *

*A Girl's Guide to Coffee**, the new play by Cleveland based playwright,
Eric Coble, will receive its World Premiere at Actors' Summit with a
preview performance on Thursday, February 23rd, followed by the official
opening on Friday, February 24th. Actors' Summit, Akron's Equity
Professional Theater, is located at Greystone Hall in downtown Akron. A
Girl's Guide to Coffee, the fourth play of the theater's 13th season, is
the story of Alex, a young barista faced with the difficult transition from
college to whatever comes next. Surrounded by her roommate, her boss, and
her parents, she shies away from committing to one path for her future
until a life changing moment and a new love come into her world.*

*Alex's story mirrors the plight of every 20-something woman, struggling to
find the right direction to take in her life. As director Constance
Thackaberry stated: "The play, although very funny, is honest. I think
college students, especially young women, will find the show both relevant,
and a great night out." Actors' Summit looks forward to welcoming students
from the University of Akron, Kent State, and other area universities who
will want to take advantage of the theater's $9 student ticket prices. The
show isn't only for college students: "The play is wonderfully funny and
everyone can relate to the struggles one faces when trying to make it on
your own," says Thackaberry. *
