[NEohioPAL] Seeking Lead Actor -- Strongsville Community Theatre

Ever wanted to be Bogie?  Are you Sam Spade at heart?  Do you love mystery, noir, shows with style and vision?

Strongsville Community Theatre is seeking a strong actor for the lead male role in their upcoming production of "Design for Murder."  The detective role will be great fun -- think Humphrey Bogart, cigarettes, whiskey, fedora, talking really fast, protecting the dames..... This will not be parody, but an homage to a distinctive and wonderful genre.

The actor should be able to play in his 40's; and he's tough, charismatic, quixotic.

Rehearsals will begin Monday, March 12.  Most weeks, rehearsals will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Performance dates: the weekends of April 27 and May 4, for six performances.
