We are looking for experienced, adult dancers with Jazz, contemporary and/or ballroom experience to perform in a stage production called "A Dancers Story".

Where: Cheek 2 Cheek Dance Studio located at 4440 Mayfield Road, Cleveland Ohio.
When: March 24, 2012 
Time: 1:00pm EST

Preliminary Project Summary

 This production is dedicated
to generating as much money as possible for the Berea Children’s Home (www.bchfs.org)
while providing an entertaining and inspirational experience for our
audience. 



This stage production tells the
story of a dancer’s life. The story is told from the perspective of a lifelong
lover of the art. As he is telling his story, from his easy chair stage left,
he will begin to remember the highlights of his vast experience with dance.
 

At specific points in his story the
lights will come down and his voice fades. The curtain goes up and the scene
begins. Each scene will reflect the story told by the dancer.  



His memories will take the audience
on a journey spanning forty years and include a variety of dance styles
including Ballet, Broadway, Cha Cha, Tango, Foxtrot, Waltz, Theater Arts and
more.

 The Audience Experience

 The audience will arrive at
the centrally located Breen Center For The Performing Arts that has recently
undergone a major restoration. A valet will assist with parking their
car. 

They will have the opportunity to
attend a cocktail party prior to the show. 

 A number of professional
waitpersons will be providing complimentary Hors Doeuvres. The Theater itself
seats five hundred audience members while remaining comfortable and intimate.
In essence everyone has a great seat.

 During the twenty-minute
intermission they will have the opportunity to have more refreshments and if
they choose they have their first opportunity to order a professionally filmed
and edited DVD of the show.

 After the show they will be
invited to attend the after party located a few blocks away. A shuttle service
will be provided to and from the event.
