[NEohioPAL] DARK DAYS AHEAD FOR THE MONAGHANS

They’ve been living the Life of Reilly or is it Riley – the Divil you say,
let’s just call it Monaghan – for these many years. Five brothers and
sisters still together in the house they were born in. But change is
coming. Their niece Ada Clare is getting restless, ready to move on and
start a life of her own at 45. Her last chance, some might call it or plain
bad luck, according to Ned, who is counting on Ada Clare to live out his
life in comfort.

Annie thinks they should give the girl her chance but she’s outnumbered.
Liam don’t say much at all, but there’s a far-away look in his eyes when he
remembers his own 15-year engagement to Mary Ellen O’Connor. No point in
asking Lucille what she thinks, crazy as a loon she is, reciting the Lives
of the Saints to anyone who will listen. And Nora as the eldest is
committed to keeping order at any cost. That leaves Ned free to work his
plans unless . . .

No use speculating what will happen next. Best see for yourself on Monday,
March 5 at 7:30 p.m. when FIRST MONDAYS presents a reading of LIVES OF THE
SAINTS by Jean Seitter Cummins and featuring Robert Hawkes, Bernice Bolek,
Alan Zeilinger, Marcia Mandell and Linda Ryan.

Take yourself down to Judson Manor 1890 East 107th – that's 107th and
Chester, across the street from the Church of the Holy Oil Can – to find out
what happens when an irresistible force (like love) meets up with five
immovable objects.

Admission is $5 at the door. Park free in a gated lot just steps away from
the Judson lobby.
