* and features an ALL TEEN drama with the intent to broaden and stretch
acting and theater skills in teens. *
 ***PLEASE NOTE: THIS PRODUCTION WILL USE LANGUAGE AND REFERENCES
APPROPRIATE *
*TO THE TIME AND PLACE TO HELP TELL THIS HISTORICAL AND IMPORTANT STORY. *
*ALL AUDITIONERS UNDER 18 WILL NEED TO HAVE A PARENTAL CONSENT FORM SIGNED
AT THE TIME OF AUDITIONS.**

*Ages eligible to audition: 13-19 for all adult roles*
*. Ages 10 (by show) and up may audition for the roles of Scout, Dill, and
Jem, *
*but full consideration will also be given to all teens wishing to audition
for those roles.*
 * Please be familiar with the book and story, and prepare a 1 minute
dramatic monologue. A Southern accent is preferred.
*
* AUDITIONS: THURSDAY AND FRIDAY MARCH 22-23 from 6:30-9:00
No appointments necessary
Callbacks as needed will be Saturday March 24 at 1:30.

SHOW DATES: MAY 18, 19, AND 20*

*There is the possibility of several school day performances, and all cast
members must be available to perform during the school day either May 22,
23, 24, 25. Details with schools are currently being determined and you
will know any added performance by the time of auditions. If your school is
interested in having a special performance for them, please have your
teacher contact Angela Miloro at amiloro720 at gmail.com.

Available Roles:

1. (F) Jean Louis Finch (Scout) – a young, curious tomboy
Age: 10 and up

2. (M) Jeremy Finch (Jem) – Scout’s older brother, outgoing, loves football
Age: 11 and up

3. (M) Charles Baker Harris (Dill) – a young boy, bright, outgoing , curious
Age: 10 and up

4. (M) Atticus Finch – Scout and Jem’s father, a lawyer, righteous, caring
Age: 15 and up

5. (M) Heck Tate – the sheriff, friend to Atticus, tries to keep the peace
Age: 14 and up

6. (M) Tom Robinson – African-American role, on trial for rape, not guilty
Age: 15 and up

7. (F) Calpurnia – African-American role, housekeeper, stern but
compassionate
Age: 13 and up

*8. (M) Arthur Radley (Boo) – A neighbor, keeps to himself, is the talk of
the kids
Age: 13 and up

9. (F) Maudie Atkinson – A neighbor, the narrator of the story, a gossip
Age: 13 and up

10. (F) Stephanie Crawford – A neighbor, very much a gossip
Age: 13 and up

11. (F) Mrs. Dubose – An old lady, sick, very crabby and angry
Age: 15 and up

*12. (M) Judge Taylor – The judge, oversees the Tom Robinson trial
Age: 15 and up

13. (F) Mayella Ewell – A young woman, accuses Tom Robinson of
rape
Age: 15 and up

14. (M) Bob Ewell –- Mayella’s father, abusive
Age: 15 and up

*15. (M) Walter Cunningham – A neighbor, farmer, poor
Age: 13 and up

*16. (M) Mr. Gilmer – The public prosecutor
Age: 15 and up

17. (M) Reverend Sykes – African-American role, the minister
Age: 14 and up
