[NEohioPAL] Tri-C Metro Presents "Two Trains Running"

The Metro Theatre Department of Tri-C presents August Wilson's Two
Trains Running, directed by Jimmie Woody.  Two Trains Running tells the
story of the patrons of Memphis Lee's restaurant in Pittsburgh in 1969
who are struggling to cope with the turbulence of a world that is
changing rapidly around them.  The diner is scheduled to be torn down, a
casualty of the city's renovation project that is sweeping away the
buildings of this community, but not its spirit.  With compassion, humor
and a superb essence of place and time, Wilson paints a vivid portrait
of everyday lives in the shadow of great events.  

 

Two Trains Running is slated to run in the Tri-C Metro Campus Studio
Theatre, 2900 Community College Ave. in Cleveland, at the following
times:

 

7:30 p.m. performance - March 30-31, and April 6-7 

2:30 p.m. matinee - April 1 and April 7

11:30 a.m. student matinee April 4-5
