HAIRSPRAY - THE BROADWAYMUSICAL 
AUDITIONS 
March 31 
April 1, 2012 
Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. 
Auditions begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. 
Be prepared to stay for the duration of the audition  
• Prepare a vocal selection (a Broadway ‘standard’ NOT from the 
show), and bring your sheet music in the proper key as an 
accompanist will be provided. Auditions will not be permitted in 
acapella format, nor with any electronic accompaniment. 
• A brief comic monologue should also be prepared. 
• A dance 
sequence will be taught and auditioned 
during the audition period, so dress for movement. 
• Callbacks will be held after April 1st, 
and candidates will be contacted individually. 
•
