LCCC's 33rd Annual Choral Spring POPS Spectacular!      

 

Lorain County Community College's Collegiate Chorale, Vocal Jazz
Singers, and Civic Chorale will present the "33rd Annual Choral Spring
POPS Spectacular!"  at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 28 in the Stocker Arts
Center.

 

The performance will be conducted by Nancy Davis, LCCC's director of
Choral Music Performance.  

 

General admission tickets are $7. Discounts are available for groups and
senior citizens.  For tickets and more information, call the Stocker
Center box office at 440-366-4040. 

 

The program will feature favorites from Broadway musicals including
"Somewhere" from "West Side Story,"  "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" from
"The Wizard of Oz," and "If Ever I Would Leave You" from "Camelot."  

 

Other familiar tunes include Ernie Ford's "Sixteen Tons," "Homeland,"
"Bridge Over Troubled Water," and the rousing spiritual, "Ride the
Chariot."  This year's concert will also feature selected LCCC music
majors in a student talent showcase.
