 *Auditions for LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS*
The Little Theatre of Tuscarawas
County<http://www.thelittletheatreonline.org> will
be holding auditions for their summer musical, *Little Shop of Horrors*, on
*Sunday, April 29* and *Monday, April 30*.  Auditions will be held at The
Little Theatre at 466 Carrie Ave. NW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
Registration will begin at *6:30pm* with auditions beginning at *7:00pm*.

*Little Shop of Horrors*, written by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, is an
affectionate musical spoof of 1950's Sci-Fi movies. The story centers
around a down-and out skid row floral assistant who becomes an overnight
sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for
fresh blood. Soon "Audrey II" grows into an ill-tempered, foul-mouthed,
R&B-singing carnivore who offers him fame and fortune in exchange for
feeding its growing appetite.

Roles are available for 4 men and 4 women. All who audition must be at
least 16 years old. There are no children in this show.

All who are auditioning should be prepared to sing 16-24 bars of a song
from a musical. Please bring your own sheet music or vocal track. An
accompanist will be provided. All who audition will also be asked to read
from the script and do a brief movement audition. Please wear comfortable
clothing and footware.

Call backs, if needed, will be held on Wednesday, May 2 at 7:00pm.

*Little Shop of Horrors* will be performed June 29, 30, July 1, 6, 7, 8,
13, & 14.
