MUSIC DIRECTOR NEEDED FOR
*CABARET*


Workshop Players is seeking a music director for their upcoming production
of Kander and Ebb’s *CABARET*.  Auditions will be held June 2nd and
3rdwith callbacks on June 1010.
 Rehearsals will be during the months of July and August with 9 show dates,
beginning Sept. 6th and closing Sept. 23rd.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-        Vocal direction of all cast members.  Intensive rehearsals during
the first two weeks of July and continuing responsibilities for any
rehearsal dates involving vocal rehearsals.  After the initial two weeks,
scheduling is more flexible until we begin run-throughs two weeks prior to
opening night, at which point more regular attendance will be expected.

-        The music director must also assemble a 4 piece orchestra and
rehearse the pit orchestra at least three times prior to opening night.

* A small stipend is available for any music director who is able to also
provide rehearsal accompaniment.

The music of *Cabaret *is well known and, generally, easy to moderate in
difficulty. If you are interested in being a part of a team that is going
to bring *CABARET* to an intimate theatre-in-the-round setting, this is the
