Beck Center for the Arts Dance Education presents...



Ballet Intensive with Guest Artist Lou Fancher
June 11-22; Monday-Friday 9A-2P

$350
-For intermediate and advanced dancers ages 12-18-
Intensive includes a daily two-hour technique class and a two-hour repertory class with an emphasis on contemporary works.  An original work will be set on the students and showcased at an informal presentation on June 22.

Master Class Series
-For teen and adult dancers-
Intermediate Ballet Technique...Tuesday, June 12; 6:30-8:30 pm
Contemporary Workshop...Thursday, June 14; 6:30-8:30 pm
Intermediate Ballet Technique...Monday, June 18; 6:30-8:30 pm
$16 single class
$45 for 3-class series

Ms. Fancher is a nationally known instructor, coach, and choreographer currently on the faculty of Berkeley Ballet Theater.  She has been ballet mistress for Company C Contemporary Ballet, James Sewell Ballet, Minnesota Dance Theater, and Alberta Ballet and a guest instructor for Smuin Ballet, Oakland Ballet, University of Michigan, and University of California at Davis.  Her works have been commissioned by James Sewell Ballet, New York Ballet Theater, Ballet Pacifica, and Alberta Ballet.  In addition, she has participated in the Carlisle Project.

Beck Center Dance offers age appropriate early childhood classes in KidsNDance, preschool dance, preballet, and boys dance; youth and teen division classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, contemporary, and hip hop; and adult classes in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, tone & stretch, and gyrokinesis.
