*SUMMER ARTS CAMPS AT SOLON CENTER FOR THE ARTS*



Solon Center for the Arts offers more than 18 exciting camps in music,
theater, dance and art for kids ages 3 to 18 beginning June 11, 2012. Each
week’s camp session is different and is created to cover basic skills and
techniques, while encouraging creativity and further developing each
student’s talents and abilities.



For the tiniest talents, SCA offers Lil’ Music, Lil’ Art and Lil’ Theater
Camps for pre-school students (ages 3 to 5). New this summer is the Lil’
Combo Camp combining music, art and movement. To explore just dance, try
Kinderdance (ages 3 to 6).



Students grades 1 through 7 can participate in Theater, Art and Beginner
Dance Camps. Each session is one week long. Montage Art Camps are two-week
sessions and include music, theater, dance and art. SCA Musical Theater
Workshop Camp is five weeks long ending with a performance of *The Musical
Adventures of Flat Stanley, Jr*.



Teens ages 12 through 18 are invited to expand their knowledge at a variety
of one-week SCA Dance Intensives including musical theater,
ballet/contemporary, jazz/modern and choreography. Also offered is the
five-week Acting for the Theater class that will provide experiences with
character development and acting techniques.



New this summer, SCA will be offering an ‘all-day’ camping experience
Mondays through Thursdays until 6:00 pm at a discounted fee. Register for
Theater and Art Camp and stay at the Center from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
