The Crooked River Camera Shootout

 

This event features the leading Digital Cinema Camera Systems in a one day
showcase to determine who delivers the best image. The shootout brings to
center stage Hollywood staples, Arri's Alexa (The Avengers) and RED's EPIC
(Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) along with Indie Filmmaker darlings, Canon 5D,
Sony F3 and the newcomer, the Canon C300, this all day event will feature
these camera systems with images compared and graded by professional
editors, visual effect artist and colorist in leading software packages.
Also enter to win prizes from Avid, 3cP, PureBlend Software and others.

on green screen by Ohio HD Video and Hemlock films

2:05 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. Intro to Color Grading/Finishing using Assimilate
Scratch/Adobe Speedgrade and Colorista. Exploiting the advantages of Log
workflows in Finishing/Grading (Held in Post Room)

 

2:30 P.M. - 3:30 P.M. Camera Showcase Your chance to walk about and see the
gear up close, Ask questions of Owner/Operator, DoP Scott Handel and
Owner/Operator, DoP Adam White. 

 

3:00 P.M. - 3:35 P.M. Winning Strategies for Editors: Maximizing Your
Workflow for Commercial and Indie Film (Held in Post Room)

 

3:30 P.M. - 4:30 P.M. Low Light Shootout Presentation. Camera systems
compared on green screen by Ohio HD Video and Hemlock films

 

4:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. Intro to 3D Tracking and Keying in Adobe After Effects
Cs6. Renderdawgs artist, builds a comp using Green Screen Footage from
Morning Session (Held in Post Room)

 

4:35 P.M. Final Thoughts/Q & A Session

 

5:00 P.M. Prize Drawing & Conclusion
