EDUCATION ASSOCIATE – CLEVELAND PLAY HOUSE

We’ve reinvigorated our education programs and need a trusty lieutenant to play a pivotal role.  What you’ll do:  Coordinate the scheduling of workshops and educator events, student matinees, and a three-state tour.  Help plan events and even produce some solo.  Be the liaison -- and sales force -- to schools.  Make school site visits.  Mentor our year-round apprentices.  Nurture our professional teaching artists.  Collect and organize data.  Represent CPH at professional meetings.  Is there some ho-hum office work?  Yep.  But this position is so much more.  Are you our ideal candidate?  You are if you:  Are highly organized… can manage multiple priorities and people yet still meet deadlines… love to talk, aren’t shy about asking, and speak with poise and confidence… have planned at least a few events… have solid MS Office  skills (database a plus).  You’ll learn.  You’ll grow.  You’ll have as much responsibility as you can take.  No timid flowers, please—need a real go-getter.
