[NEohioPAL] Summer Art Classes in Rocky River for Children & Adults

Have you always wanted to learn how to draw or paint? Any level of ability is welcome in these classes! 



Licensed art instructor offers drawing, painting, calligraphy and more, 
year-round at St. Thomas Lutheran School: 21211 Detroit Rd., Rocky 
River, 44116. The atmosphere is very relaxed and encouraging; you can 
pursue your interests while gaining valuable creative tips and insights 
along the way. You will also receive individual instruction so you can 
learn at your own pace while enjoying the company of other aspiring 
artists.  

 

Ongoing classes on Saturdays from 11:00 am-1:00pm usually host 3-5 
adults and sometimes older children; all ages welcome (children welcome 
to attend with adults)! The age and ability levels vary which makes it 
fun, inspiring and refreshingly therapeutic.

Here's the summer schedule:



Weeknight OUTDOOR Adult Drawing

We'll meet at a convenient park and enjoy the beautiful weather while 
developing your sketching skills! Choose your subject matter from the 
scenery or bring another project. Supplies you'll need to bring: 9" x 
12" sketchpad, pencil, eraser, ruler.



*In the case of inclement weather, we'll meet at St. Thomas.



Wednesday evenings, from 6:30-8:00 pm.

Dates (depending on enrollment): June 6, 13, 27, July 11, 18, August 1, 8, 15



Tuesday evenings, from 6:30-8:00 pm.

Dates (depending on enrollment): June 26, July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31,  August 7, 14

Pay-as-you-go (cash): $15/class, or pay for 5 classes (do not have to be consecutive) for $65 (save $10)





Children's Drawing(ages 6-12)

This class is for children of all levels of ability and is designed to 
improve creativity and drawing skills while enjoying subject matter such
 as animals, people, and  perspective. Each student will receive 
individual instruction. Students will need to bring: 9" x 12" sketchpad,
 pencil, eraser, ruler, crayons.



Session 1: Mondays & Wednesdays, June 11, 13, 25, 27

Time: 1:00-2:00 pm

Price: $40



Session 2: Tuesdays & Thursdays, July 10, 12, 17, 19

Time: 1:00-2:00 pm

Price: $40



Children's Multi-Media Color Class (ages 6-12)

Children will experiment with watercolors, acrylic paint and oil pastels
 while creating beautiful artwork! Supplies will be provided, $10 fee.

Session 1: Mondays & Wednesdays, July 9, 11, 16, 18

Time: 1:00-2:00 pm

Price: $50



Session 2: Tuesdays & Thursdays, July 31, August 2, 7, 9

Time: 1:00-2:00 pm

Price: $50
