The Cardboard Box Players present a program perfect for musical theater lovers
of all ages.
Featuring the talents of Adam Cooper and Kelsey Bowens with Kyle Lorek on piano!
About the Performers:
Adam Cooper has worked with Opera Cleveland, Lakeland Civic Theatre,
Baldwin-Wallace College, Rabbit Run Theatre and more. Favorite roles include
Marius in Les Miserables: School Edition, Fleet in Titanic and The Baker in Into
the Woods. He is currently a theatre major at Cleveland State University with a
focus on Directing and Arts Management. He has recently founded The Cardboard
Box Players, a theatre company focused on sustainability and minimizing waste
through upcycling and is excited to see the company breathe and grow.
Adam is thrilled to be given this opportunity to rock out to incredible songs
with incredibly talented people.
Kelsey Bowens
Kyle J. Lorek has been playing piano for over 15 years now and is highly
involved in theatre. Majoring in Music at the University of Akron, Kyle has
continued working on his craft as an actor, performer, and musician. His most
recent endeavors include performing as Mr. Murdoch in the Akron Symphony
Orchestra’s production of Titanic: the musical, and has starred as Javert in
Rabbit Run Community Theatre’s production of Les Miserables. Kyle looks
forwarded to establishing a career in film acting and wishes all of the fathers
a Happy Father’s Day.
will be a Junior Musical Theatre Major at Ashland University this fall. She has
been seen at Ashland in the One Act Festival in The Author's Voice; as Elizabeth
in "Whistle Down the Wind; and as Louise/Naomi in Sunday in the Park with
George. This summer, she can be seen in The Life and Adventures of Nickolas
Nickleby and Drood! The Musical at Rabbit Run Theatre in Madison, Ohio. Kelsey
has also worked at the Willoughby Fine Arts Association and the Geauga Lyric
Theatre in Chardon. Previous productions include: The Lion, the Witch and the
Wardrobe (FAA), Disney's Beauty and the Beast (FAA), Urinetown: The
Musical (RR), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (RR), Les Miserables,
School Edition (RR), and Annie (GLT).
