PART TIME PIANO INSTRUCTOR

Solon Center for the Arts is accepting applications for a Part Time Piano
Instructor.

Qualified applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano
Performance, Keyboard Pedagogy, Collaborative Piano or a related degree
with a piano concentration from an accredited institution, Master’s Degree
a plus. Interested applicants must have at least two years of teaching
experience. This position involves daytime and possible evening hours and
will begin in June of 2012. The hourly rate is based upon experience and
qualifications.

Candidates for the Piano Instructor position will interact closely with the
Music Department Coordinator and will be able to work with students of all
ages and skill levels. Applicants must be professional and display
leadership qualities in a classroom setting. Excellent problem solving
skills, organizational skills and interpersonal communications are
required. Applicants must be able to work in a team environment.
