Blood First (Drama/Suspense)

Log line: Brothers’ love and loyalty to one another is tested by the code
of the streets.

Brief synopsis:  O and Rico may have different mothers but the blood of
their father, Raqmaan, a hustler, runs deep in their veins and creates a
bond between them that is unbreakable. When one of their associates thinks
he’s been double crossed by them and becomes an FBI informant the brothers
must decide between abiding by the code of the streets or trying to save
themselves.

it, wise, ruthless, he’s hard on his sons because he wants them to be
independent thinkers, i.e. “their own man”

Don (age 17) – African American, Rico’s “right hand man” and intelligent
enforcer

Don (age 35) African American, sensible, intelligent and not prone to
repeating the violent acts of his youth so quickly

Ish (age 15-16) – African American, loud, rude

Agent Morris (late 30’s) – Caucasian, somewhat smug and still a little
“green”

Duck Down (20’s) – African American, loud, clownish, braggart

Sergeant (50’s) – Caucasian, loud, brusque

Shark (late 40’s/early 50’s) – African American, old style gangster,
arrogant, “cut-throat”

Flynn (mid to late 40’s) – African American, slick, arrogant, ruthless,
Shark’s “right hand man”

Black (mid to late 20’s) – African American, ruthless, killer, drug dealer,
cautious, calculating

Kane (late 20’s/early 30) – African American, New Yorker, a “hustlers
hustler,” thinks people from the Midwest aren’t as “street smart” as New
Yorkers

Football Coach (20’s/30’s) – African American, “down to Earth”

Little Boy 1 (age 11) – African American, a little “hard headed,” street
smart

Little Boy 2 (age 11)  - African American, a little “hard headed,” street
smart

Justin (late 20’s) – TV reporter

Mark Kamowitz (mid 40’s) – Caucasian, lawyer, slightly unethical

intelligent, professional, realist, has seen it all and is rarely surprised
by the brutality of the streets, veteran
