Fairmount Performing Arts Conservatory

        Developing technique and creativity for the artist within.
        Promoting life skills for the professional to come.

Fairmount Performing Arts Conservatory is an acclaimed, high caliber threatre 
training program for students looking to gain a competitive edge in the 
performing arts. In its 9 season, FPAC continues to provide superior 
training that challenges, encourages and inspires its students in a fun 
and creative environment. 


FPAC's Professional Training Workshop (ages 11 - adult)  


Classes offered include specialties in Acting, Dance and Musical Theatre. 

Acting Track
Become the actor you want to be with this program. Here you will gain the 
know-how to attack a scene or monologue on stage or in an audition by 
studying acting technique, character development and script analysis. You will prepare yourself in a vast array of theatrical arts as you take on classes in Improvisation, Shakespeare, Stage Combat,Clown, and so much more. Learn the technique and art of acting physically, mentally and emotionally.

Dance Track
This program is designed to create a well-rounded dancer who is able to perform a wide 
variety of styles and techniques.  Dancers should have some experience 
in at least one of the following offerings: ballet, modern, or jazz.  Every day there will be leveled classes in ballet technique. There will also be regular classes in contemporary, jazz, hip hop, ballroom, floor- barre, partnering skills, turns and choreography. It is the immersion in all dance-all day that propels the dancer’s skills forward very rapidly!

Musical Theatre Track
Offered with either an Acting emphasis or Dance emphasis to fit your individual needs. This program will allow you to cultivate your skills as a singer, dancer and actor. With classes in Musical Repertoire, Vocal Technique, Voice and Articulation, Character Development, Dance Choreography, Conveying Emotion Through Song and many more, you will gain the tools to succeed as a musical theatre performer! 

Master Classes
Included in our curriculum, Laura Kepley, Cleveland Playhouse Associate Artistic Director, will lend her talents to help FPAC's Acting and Musical 
Theatre students cultivate their audition pieces. This will be exclusive to registrants of the Acting Track and Musical Theatre Track only! (Session 2 only)

Session Three (two weeks) July 30 - August 10*      

*Half day options are available.
