  Two strangers meet on a bridge in an encounter that will change both their lives. A modern young woman has a most unexpected visitor - Prince Charming.  The funeral of a local icon provides laughter amid lessons in grieving.   And a young woman’s attempt at stand-up comedy proves unintentionally hilarious.  


  These are just a sample of what audiences will find at Weathervane this weekend at the Playhouse’s second annual 8x10 TheatreFest.   8 ten-minute plays, chosen from over 150 submissions, will be presented on Friday (7/13) and Saturday (7/14) at 8pm and Sunday (7/15) at 2:30pm.   


  Guest judges will choose the first and second place winners and the audience will vote for Fan Favorite.    Winners will be announced at a reception following Sunday’s matinee.


  Tickets are $10 and may be purchased by calling the box office at 330-836-2626, online at www.weathervaneplayhouse.com, or at the door prior to the performances.
