*LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS*

*PRESS RELEASE*

The Little Theatre will open its doors to the final production of the
2011-2012 season on June 29, with the affectionate musical spoof of 1950s
Sci-Fi movies, *Little Shop of Horrors*.  Written by Howard Ashman and Alan
Menken, the story centers around a down and out skid row floral assistant
who becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a
mysterious craving for fresh blood. Soon, the plant, Audrey II, grows into
an ill-tempered , foul-mouthed, R&B singing carnivore that offers him fame
and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite.

The cast includes Andy Potts as Seymour; Amanda Larkin as Audrey; Don Irven
as Mr. Mushnik; Larry Sams as Orin/Customer/Bernstein/Mrs. Luce/Snip; Josh
Larkin as Voice of Audrey II/wino; Sarah DiGirolamo as Ronnette; Marita
Tornabene as Chiffon, and DeeAnne VanScoy as Crystal.

Directed by Chad S. Roberts, who also serves as the set and lighting
designer, the production includes the following production staff members:
Megan Sams, Music Director; Pat Potter, Assistant Director; Machelle
Miller, Producer; DeeAnne VanScoy, Choreographer, Pam Douglas, Stage
Manager; Meghan Miller, Props; Melanie Schlabaugh, Production Assistant;
Alex Allesandri-Bruce, Costumes; Debi DeVore, Hair and Makeup, and Lee
Elliott , Publicity.

*Little Shop of Horrors* will run June 29 and 30, July 1, 6, 7, 8, 13 and
14.  Friday and Saturday curtains are at 8 pm, while Sunday matinees are at
2:30 pm.  Tickets for the production can be reserved by calling The Little
Theatre Box Office at (330) 343-4012 beginning Friday, June 22.  .  The box
office will be open on weeknights from 7-9pm, show nights from 12-2pm and
6-9pm, and Sunday matinees from 1-2:30pm.  A detailed list of box office
