Sheffield Village- Lorain County Metro Parks and TrueNorth Cultural Arts
closes the 2011-2012 theatre season with the musical *The Secret Garden*,
running July 20th through August 5th at the French Creek Nature and Arts
Center.  Show times are at 7:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays and at 3pm on
Sundays.  Tickets are available for $12.50 in advance and $15 the day of
the performance.

*The Secret Garden *is a musical based on the popular Frances Hodgson
Burnett children’s novel of the same name, with music by Lucy Simon and
book and lyrics by Marsha Norman. When young Mary Lennox is orphaned by a
cholera outbreak she is sent to England to live with her disfigured uncle
and relatives that she has never met. While there she helps bring life to a
secret garden and the home with the help of Martha, a chambermaid, Dickon,
a gardener and her cousin, Colin. *The Secret Garden* was nominated for
several different Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The TrueNorth
production is directed by Maryann Nagel and Greg Violand.

*The Secret Garden *will be the final production of the 4th Theatre Season
at the French Creek Nature and Arts Center.  Season Tickets for the
2012-2013 season will be available soon. Next season’s shows include six
Mainstage productions, seven Family Life productions for children and young
