*Inlet Dance Theatre in Concert at Cain Park!*

Now a cherished tradition, these annual *FREE* summer concerts feature
entertaining performances, gripping expression, and talented students
alongside skilled professionals. Inlet's Summer Dance Intensive performance
at Cain Park is perhaps the most comprehensive single representation of the
company's mission of *using dance to further people*.

Highlighted works from the professional Inlet company members include: *Tides
and Solitude *an award winning work choreographed by Sally Wallace. *Birds
in a Field*, a movement poem created by Inlet's Executive Artistic
Director, Bill Wade, features this season's members of the Inlet Trainee &
Apprentice Program. Those in attendance will enjoy a sneak preview of
Inlet's now completed work, *Te Pito o te Henua (Center of the World)*,
which the company has been creating in response to their award winning
international artist exchange with Easter Island. Inlet's concert will
include other inspiring surprises, as well. Inlet intentionally blurs the
traditional barrier lines found in the dance world in the Summer Dance
Intensive and culminating Cain Park concerts.

The Summer Dance Intensive Students will be highlighted in premieres of new
works choreographed by Inlet Executive Artistic Director Bill Wade as well
as company members Mikaela Clark, and Elizabeth Pollert, as well as a
performed improvisation led by Joshua Brown.

*Thurs., July 26 @ 8 p.m.**
