The Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music introduces
school year ensemble opportunities for young musicians!

Below is a list of our Ensemble offerings with required auditions and their websites.

Youth Orchestra Program<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/prep/yo/>, audition required*
Four orchestras accommodate all levels of playing, from beginning to advanced.
Saturdays, beginning September 8

Senior Youth Orchestra (for string, woodwind, and percussion students)

Junior Youth and Senior Youth Orchestras - Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 3:30 - 6:30 pm
String Ensemble and String Orchestra - Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 3:30 - 6:30 pm

Honors Chorales<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/prep/chorale/index.html>, audition required*
BW's two select choral groups for singers in 4th through 12th grades. Music from a range of styles, historical periods, and cultural practices will be a part of this year's learning experiences and concert performances.
Mondays, beginning September 17
Youth Honors Chorale - for students grades 4-8
Senior Honors Chorale - for students grades 9-12
New Member Auditions
Auditions are TBA. Please contact the Conservatory Outreach office to be added to our interest list.

Junior Youth Honors Wind Ensemble<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/YHWE/>, audition required*
For woodwind, brass and percussion players, grades 6-9, with a minimum of one year private study.
Saturdays, beginning September 8
New Member Auditions
Saturday, August 25, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Sunday, August 26, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

An ensemble experience for advanced middle and high school percussion players, grades 7-12.
Tuesdays, beginning September 18
New Member Auditions
Auditions will be held September 4 and made by appointment only.

Men's Chorus<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/prep/menschorus/>, audition required*
Open to male singers from the Greater Cleveland area and the BW Community. Sing a wide variety of music written especially for the male voice.

Participation in the Youth Orchestras, Honors Chorales, Junior Youth Honors Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble and Men's Chorus require an audition. LESSONS and CLASSES:

Private lesson<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/prep/lessons/> teachers of all instruments, including voice, are available to teach beginners to experienced musicians. We offer continuous enrollment. Call today to for your private lesson recommendation!

Classes<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/classes/> are available for ages 6 months to adults. We offer easy online registration for many of our classes!

Selected lessons and classes are also available at our Satellite Programs<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/prep/satellites/> in Brecksville and Medina.
