ANNOUNCES AUDITIONS
FOR ADULT AFRICAN AMERICAN ACTORS
FOR A CAROL FOR CLEVELAND

A Carol for Cleveland by Eric Coble adapted from the novella by Les Roberts is a world premiere holiday show directed by Cleveland Play House (CPH) Associate Artistic Director Laura Kepley.

ROLES
GEORGE/FEZ: One African American actor in his 30s-40s to play these two roles. A good singer.

GEORGE: Runs a hardware store, laconic, dry sense of humor.  Keeps his feelings to himself.
FEZ: Full of life and compassion.  Throws a great party.    A modern working class version of Dickens' Fezziwig.

DAISY/WELL DRESSED WOMAN: One African American actor in her 30s-40s to play these two roles. A good singer.

DAISY: Bubbly, a bit ditzy, George's Wife.
WELL DRESSED WOMAN: Upper class, educated, good woman soliciting donations for the less fortunate

A Carol for Cleveland will rehearse during the day on weekdays and on weekends starting November 6th.  Previews begin November 30.  Opening is December 5th. Runs eight shows a week through December 23rd.

ACTORS AUDITIONING FOR THESE ROLES MUST BE LOCAL ACTORS WITH LOCAL HOUSING

1901 E. 13th St. (between Euclid and Dodge Court)
Second Stage Rehearsal Hall

Please prepare the side from the play that you will be sent when you make your appointment.
