Come and take a part in OPEN MIC SHAKESPEARE, an ongoing series of free,
open readings of Shakespeare plays on the first Monday of each month,
sponsored by the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival.

*FOR THIS MONTH ONLY, WE'RE MEETING ON A TUESDAY!*
Due to scheduling conflicts, we have to shift our regular meeting day this
month. We'll be back to Mondays in September!

On TUESDAY, August 7 at 7pm, we’ll congregate at Market Avenue Wine Bar in
Ohio City. Bring your friends to join in the reading or just listen and
enjoy the wine bar’s selections of over 75 wines by the glass or 50 craft
beers, as well as hors d’oeurves and desserts.

Roles will be assigned at the beginning of the event and rotated throughout
the play without regard to traditional casting considerations, to give a
chance to everyone who wants to read.

We've already seen Bolingbroke remove Richard II from power, now we
continue our march through the histories with HENRY IV, PART 1.
Bolingbroke, now King Henry IV, must hold his country together through
bloody civil war. Meanwhile, his son and heir idles away his youth in a
London pub with a cast of unsavory characters, including one of the Bard's
most beloved characters, the irrepressible fat knight Sir John Falstaff.

We will have a limited number of copies available, so if you have a copy of
your own, please bring it.
