The Canton Charge, NBA D-League team owned and operated by the Cleveland Cavaliers, are seeking an on-court Hype Person and Announcer!

Position Summary: The On-Court Announcer will be 
asked to engage the crowd, build energy in the arena and keep the 
momentum and flow of the game moving. He/She will work every home game, 
work the crowd and lead on-court promotions and work with the PA 
announcer throughout the game.

Requirements & Responsibilities:
	* Must have a pleasant and confident speaking voice that can project well to a broad audience.
	* Strong focus on positive fan engagement and being friendly and helpful to fans.
	* Excellent verbal and interviewing skills.
	* Excellent communication skills. Must be articulate, enthusiastic and have professional appearance and attitude.
	* Act as an entertainment support system to encourage fan engagement and build Charge brand.
	* Promote the Charge throughout local community events.
	* Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
	* General knowledge of Canton Charge Basketball.
	* Flexible schedule.
	* Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
	* Must have reliable transportation to and from Canton Memorial Civic Center.
	* Demonstrated knowledge and enthusiasm for the Canton Charge.
	* Excellent communication skills.
	* Must possess Hands-On, Positive Energy and Outgoing attitude.
	* Must be able to follow instructions and make decisions on the spot.
	* Must collaborate well in a team environment.
	* Live entertainment background a plus (sports, speaking, theater, etc...)
Type of Position: Part Time
