Come & Create™ Painting Classes

August Schedule

Create original acrylic paintings on canvas with artist & author JoAnn
DePolo. All skill levels from beginner to advanced work toward developing a
unique painting style with impressionist and expressionist influence. Work from
your own photos or drawings to create inspired, original works of art. Then
display your work in the Come & Create™ Art Exhibit in November. $95

Classes                                                                   
         Painting Classes are 8 week
sessions. Fee: $195 includes supplies.                              Tuesdays 9/4 – 10/30 (NO CLASS 10/2) 2:30
– 4:00pm; 4:30 – 6:00; 6:15 - 7:45               Wednesdays 9/5 – 10/31
(NO CLASS 10/3) 6:00- 7:30pm

Youth Classes 11 – 16 yrs: Wednesday

Painting Workshops Second
Saturday Each Month (9/11 & 10/8) 1:00 – 3:00pm         Break
away from your creative comfort zone or try painting for the first time in this
creative painting workshop. Work from your own photo or drawing. $55 includes supplies.       

Teen Painting Workshop Third
Saturday Each Month (9/18 & 10/15) 1:00-3:00pm           Teens can get out of
line in this workshop and into creating an original inspired abstract
expressionist painting. $55 includes supplies

School Fine Arts                                                                                        Children learn about professional
artists from a professional artist.

Awesome Artist 7 – 10 yr. Old                                                               
                      It’s
time to explore with paint in more ways than one! These “Awesome Artists” go
with the flow as they learn to use color, line, form and contrast to create
their version of master artists’ work. Artists explored are Pollock, Kandinsky,
Michelangelo, Klee, Cezanne, O’Keefe, Fraser, and Monet. Each week children
learn three interesting facts about a different master artist then paint in
that artist’s style.

Wednesdays
9/5 – 10/31(NO CLASS 10/2) Class Time: 9:45 – 11:00am                         Fee:
$160 includes all supplies and art exhibit  

Artist Detective
11 – 14 Yr. Old                                                                                  
  Each
week children learn about a different Master Artist through research and painting.  The Artist Detectives conduct research to
answer questions about a master artist’s life and work then paint in that
artist’s style. Select paintings from each child will be displayed in the
November 1 art exhibit for family, friends and fans to enjoy! Class size is
limited. 

Wednesdays 9/5 – 10/31(NO CLASS 10/2) Class Times 11:15am –
12:30pm                   Fee: $160 includes all supplies and art
