[NEohioPAL] TIN MAN NEEDED FOR READER'S THEATRE RETREAD OF THE WIZARD OF OZ

My play Dot's Journey has been successfully cast and is in rehearsal...but
we're still missing an actor age 25-35 to play the character who
corresponds to the Tin Man.  In this conception, the story is set entirely
in the real world of 1939 Los Angeles and San Diego.  The fantasy elements
are subdued, but still there.  The Tin man, therefore, is in this case not
a hollow man made of tin, but an attractive and charismatic young(ish) man
who has affairs by the gross, but shies away from emotional commitment, for
fear of getting his heart broken.  You don't know anyone like that, do
you?



Anyone who could play the role, I mean.



As for the play itself, it is a staged reading presented in the format of a
vintage radio show, complete with live sound effects, and a cast seated
before the audience throughout the evening.  The players will be reading
from scripts-NO LINES NEED TO BE MEMORIZED-and blocking will be minimal.
Rehearsals are August 8, 15, and 21-23, at 7:00, with performances on
August 24-25 at 8:00 pm at the Kathleen Howland Theatre in Canton.    At
