“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given....”  The Nativity
story has been heard and seen by millions around the world.  It is a
timeless story of the triumph of good over evil, the power of light over
darkness, and the glorious account of the birth of the Messiah.  In
December 2012, a new account of the most significant birth in world history
will be told.  “A Son Is Given” is a groundbreaking retelling of this
classic story as an “urban ballet.”  Composer and lyricist, Myron, has
revived his original composition and redesigned a blend of modern dance,
ballet, drama, and urban dance with a musical score that is unlike anything
audiences have ever seen or heard.

WHO: There are paid and apprentice positions available.  Seeking
experienced dancers for principal and apprentice roles in this unique
production.  Experience with modern dance, ballet jazz, hip hop a plus!

*WHAT TO WEAR: **This audition features "marley flooring." No street shoes
will be allowed in the dance space. Only dance shoes OR bare feet will be
allowed.*
