[NEohioPAL] CASTING CALL: Short dark comedy

CASTING CALL:
Casting for a short DARK COMEDY by the award-winning team of WRITER/DIRECTOR Craig Knowles and PRODUCER Paul Cusato. Their last film, "The Goose", screened at over 16 festivals around the world, including festivals in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and Vancouver, and premiered at CIFF right here in Cleveland.
WHAT:
The story is a very dark comedy/social commentary about a serial killer with low self-esteem -- overall, a spoof/de-construction of the horror/torture genre of films like "Saw".
WHEN: Shooting will take place this fall with completion targeted for January, 2013 and festival circuit thereafter.
HOW MUCH:All actors will receive credits on IMDB and a Blu-ray/DVD copy of finished film. Main actors will be paid a flat fee of $400. Supporting cast will receive a $100 stipend.
WHO:We are searching for the following:

--- TWO MAIN CHARACTERS ---
(1) SERIAL KILLER WITH LOW SELF ESTEEM (30s): Slightly creepy male with definite self-esteem and frustration issues. Thinking of types like Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, Louis CK, Larry David, etc., except 30s.
(2) BERNARD, VICTIM (20s): Geeky college kid. Brainiac, know it all, political science and computing major. Wimpy, but always willing to correct someone, no matter what the cost to himself. Thinking a young Woody Allen.
--- THREE SUPPORTING CHARACTERS ---
(3) RON (20s): Leader of the pack. Owns the cool car, plays on the football team. Likes to tell gruesome stories to make the girls in the group squirm.
(4) KEVIN (20s): Varsity athlete, girls hanging off him at all times. Spends much of the moving in the backseat of a car, lip-locked to his college sweetheart...
(5) SHEILA (20s): Super sexy college co-ed. Spends most of the movie in the arms of her boyfriend, until RON starts telling a disgusting story which eventually makes her sick to her stomach.
