Free Modern Master Class with Antonio Brown
This free class is presented by Verb Ballets in partnership with the Karamu House.
Open to all dance students ages 11-17. Class is limited to 30 students.

When: Thursday, August 23rd, 2012 - 5:30-7:00pm
 
Where: Karamu House 2355 East 89th Street, Cleveland, OH (downstairs dance studio)

Antonio Brown was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, where he began his dance training at the Cleveland School of the Arts. He went onto New York City to study at the Juilliard School where he received his BFA. Brown has also worked with many companies and artist throughout New York City including Malcolm Low/Formal Structure, Stephen Pier, Nilas Martins Dance Company, Damage Dance and Sidra Bell Dance New York. In 2007 he became a member of the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company and also performs with Camille A. Brown & Dancers and Gregory Dolbashian's "The Dash Ensemble".  Brown will be setting a new company work to premiere on Verb Ballets' September 22, 2012 Fall Series. Tickets $10-$24 available www.verbballets.org. 
Master Classes and Workshops are a part of Verb's, a season-long effort to engage, educate and expose youth of varying ages to the power and beauty of contemporary dance, ultimately fostering a love of dance for lifelong patrons.
