The Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music introduces
Classes and Ensembles for all ages, infants to adults!

Easy online registration is available for many of our classes!

Beginning in August
Group Voice Class - Adult<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/prep/groupclasses/>, for ages 18 and up
Adults participate in vocal training in a group setting
Saturdays, beginning August 25

Group Voice Class - Teen<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/prep/groupclasses/>, for ages 13-18
Take group lessons for basic vocal training including a variety of techniques
Tuesdays, beginning August 28

Beginning in Early September
Suzuki Violin<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/prep/suzuki/>, for ages 4 and up
Through weekly private lessons, group classes and strong parent involvement, students learn to play the violin as a member of musical family much like learning their first language
Group classes on Thursdays or Saturdays beginning September 8

Songwriting Class<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/songwriting/>, for ages 15 and up
This class explores the development of lyrics and music to be accompanied by piano or guitar, and includes an introduction to computer notation software
Mondays, beginning September 10

Beginning Fiddling Class<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/fiddle/>, for ages 12 to adult
For those interested to learn playing the violin through the Mark O'Connor fiddling method
Mondays, beginning September 10

BW Fiddling Ensemble<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/fiddle/>, for ages 12 to adult
For students looking to continue their study of fiddling through the Mark O'Connor method in an ensemble setting

Children and their caregivers experience music and movement as play
Tuesdays, beginning September 11

Children's Piano Class<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/prep/grouppiano/>, for ages 5 to 10 years
Parents will work together with their children to learn the basics of piano
Tuesdays or Saturdays, beginning September 11

Music+Rhythm+Movement<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/prep/dalcroze/>, for ages 3 to 6 years
Dalcroze exercise help children develop coordination and musical expression
Wednesdays or Saturdays, beginning September 12

Children begin learning early the healthy way to sing
Wednesdays, beginning September 12

Students will improve their singing, acting and dancing skills
Saturdays, beginning September 15

Encourages young children's natural desire to move, dance and imagine with their caregiver

High school and adult students will learn advanced theory concepts through this year-long course. High school students will be eligible to take the A.P. Music Theory exam after completing the full-year course.

Musical Kaleidoscope<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/classes/Kaleidoscope/>, for infants to early elementary children with special needs
Board certified-music therapist led; builds skills with music
Thursdays, beginning September 20

Beginners of all ages are trained on the basics of guitar
Mondays, beginning September 24

Use your lunch hour to expand your mind while learning how to sing or play the guitar! Classes are for beginners and are in a group setting.
