Beck Center for the Arts is thrilled to offer this special class designed to engage the young student who is schooled in the home environment.  Headed by the imaginative Carli Taylor Miluk - who excels in teaching these classes all over Northeastern Ohio - this class will provide a fun and educational opportunity as well as a social and creative outlet for the homeschooled student.

Homeschool Class: Performance Workshop (Ages 8 to 14) Instructor: Carli Taylor Miluk
This class offers students the opportunity to experience the full rehearsal process in a classroom setting.  Starting with auditions and casting, students then rehearse a short script to develop a better understanding of working  with blocking, taking direction and building a character.  This class culminates in an informal presentation for family and friends.  NOTE: Basic Reading Skills are needed to participate in this class.

Mondays; 12:00-1:00pm; 14 weeks; 9/17/12-12/17/12, Tuition: $149

About the instructor: CARLI TAYLOR MILUK
Ms. Miluk holds a BA in Theatre and Dance from Baldwin Wallace, 2005. Her Cleveland performance credits include Cleveland Play House, Great Lakes Theatre, Cleveland Public Theatre, MorrisonDance, Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, and Murderous Mayhem and Motive 4 Murder mystery shows. Carli hosts events and the "Backyard Show" for Radio Disney AM1260. She directs and choreographs for theaters all over Ohio. Besides teaching theater and dance classes, Carli also teaches at Fit By Five preschool in Westlake.
