Cleveland Play House (CPH), America’s first regional theatre, is currently accepting applications for a Properties Intern.  This is an entry level position that will provide the opportunity to work alongside a skilled professional prop staff producing a 7 show main stage season and 2 shows with the Case Western Reserve University MFA acting program.  CPH maintains one of the largest collections of props in the country.  
 
The Properties Intern’s responsibility will be to assist the Properties Master with all aspects of building, procuring, and maintaining props.  Qualified candidate will be a team player, have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Experience and education in theater is preferred. 
 
This is a full-time seasonal position.  Work hours may vary as production needs dictate but weeks will typically run M-F from 9am-6pm. Pay rate is $8.00 per hour with time and one half after 40 hours in a work week.
