[NEohioPAL] ANIMAL CONCERT this Saturday

This Saturday, Sept. 29, A Chorus for a Cause and all its performing
ensembles (children & youth choirs, Harmony Ringers handbell choir) will
present THE ANIMALS ARE COMING!  A whole concert built around animals.
 Why?  Because we are benefiting Pegasus Farm Therapeutic Equestrian Center
in Hartville (percentage of ticket price)  and also bringing awareness to
the Coalition for Animal Concerns and their work. (donation boxes for
contributions)  Tickets are $10 at the door or email ahead to make sure you

This concert was fun to put together!  Songs by Eric Whitacre, Gwyneth
Walker, Janet Wheeler, Mark Hayes, a commissioned piece by Shawn Brogan
Allison and more for the adult singers.  The children will be singing about
dogs, cats, bees (and more) and they even have some jokes to tell.  Our
bells will be playing "The Whistler and His Dog", "Pink Panther", "Donkey
Serenade" and "Yellow Bird"...have YOU ever been to a concert all about
animals?  There will be music for all...serious, humorous and toe tappin',
too! Oh...and lots of visuals, too!

7:30 THIS Saturday at the Johnson Center of Malone University on Cleveland
Ave.
6:00-7:30 there's an art show of area artists...some of their art may be
purchased.  Doors for the concert hall open at 7:00.  So come early to see
the art before you head in to find a seat.
