Auditions for:

The Fine Arts Association's production of

Seussical(tm)

Music by Stephen Flaherty
Lyrics by Lynn Ahrens
Book by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty
Co-conceived by Lynn Ahrens, Stephen Flaherty and Eric Idle
Based on the works of Dr. Seuss

Directed & Choreographed by Pierre-Jacques Brault

Audition Dates:

Friday, October 12, 2012 - beginning at 6:30 pm & 

Saturday, October 13, 2012 - beginning at 2:00 pm

Requirements:

Appointment NEEDED -Call Ann Hedger at 440-951-7500 x103 to make
appointment

Preparation:

*        Come prepared with a short song  (verse/one chorus)

*	Bring sheet music in the proper key
*	An accompanist will play for all auditioners

*        Bring a headshot, snapshot or school picture that we can keep

Casting Information:

*	Needed:   Cast of approximately 40.  Children must be at least 8
years old.
*	Roles of the Cat and Horton are precast.  All other roles are
available.
*	No AEA contracts available for this production.

*        Seeking larger than life characters that can "pop and lock" and
"belt" like the best of them. 

*        Many roles in the show will be doubled. All ethnicities are
strongly encouraged to attend.

Rehearsals Start:  Monday, October 22.  Rehearsals will be Sunday thru
Thursdays.

Performance Dates:  

November 23 thru December 16, 2012 - Matinees 2:00 pm, Evenings 7:30 pm
and Saturdays, December 1, 8 & 15 are possible double performances.
NOTE:  Daytime performances for schools:  Thu, November 29 & December 6,
11 am
